Too Big for Diapers (Too Big Board Books) Review
User Submitted Too Big for Diapers (Too Big Board Books) ReviewsJune 7, 2008 Board Book Too Big for Diapers (Too Big Board Books) Ok book but could be more detailed-my grandson has very good comprehension and seemed bored with the book very quickly. April 5, 2008 good book This book has helped to get my son interested in potty training. It makes it easy to add your own words to personalize to your style of training. March 25, 2008 Kid-approved My son loves this book! Every time he sits on the potty, he reads this book. We've adjusted the storyline a little to better fit his interests, but the familiar character helps make potty training enjoyable. February 18, 2008 Bye-Bye Diapers My 2 yr old son loves this book . He will sit on the potty for a long time now . Before, he would only sit on the potty maybe 1 minute . Now he goes pee-pee in potty atleast twice a week . ( we started potty training mid-January .) When my son sits on the potty he says ''Ernie Book , Bye-Bye Diapers !'' January 29, 2008 Simplistic This short book is overly simplistic. I add more detail as I read. My just-turned three year old boys love the pictures, and this is the only "potty" book they ask me to read over and over. January 18, 2008 My daughter loves it It's her read on the potty chair book and she looks forward to it every time. She is only two and a half years old and she has the words on the pages memorized, she practially reads them to me. January 12, 2008 Inspired My Toddler to Use the Potty- Well Worth the 5 Bucks! My two year old daughter was wairy of using the potty before I read this book to her. Ernie is a familiar face and she seemed comforted to know Ernie was once a baby and then he learned to use the body. Now she loves to use her potty seat! The text is very basic so I make up my own words to describe how Ernie uses the potty. My daughter is so amused by this book and asks for it all the time. She always laughs at Ernie when he uses the toilet paper and says "That's too much, Ernie!" This book inspired to her to work up a super big lather of soap when she washes her hands! It is more entertaining than it is educational (unless you make up your own words like I do), but it is my daughter's favorite potty training book (and we have many) and it got her excited to use the potty! January 9, 2008 Great introduction to potty training This book has been a great introduction for potty training. It is very simple and easy to follow -- Ernie is playing, he feels like he needs to go pee, and he uses the potty successfully. My son is familiar with Ernie from Sesame Street, so he enjoys the book regardless of the topic. After reading it several times, he's starting to understand the concept of being too big for diapers. We're in the early stages of potty training, but this was a great introduction. January 9, 2008 ernie potty this is really basic but very cute, takes all of 20 seconds to read!Wished I'd bought it at a yard sale and not paid so much $ December 28, 2007 Potty Book for 2-1/2 year old son I bought this book for my son to read while potty training, he enjoys it but it is extremely vague in the actual process of what goes into the potty training process. For example it skips from Ernie got a new potty to when Ernie "has to go" he sits on the potty and "goes". I pretty much don't even read the words but rather am descriptive for my son, I will read it "when Ernie has to pee-pee or poopie". I would not recommend this as a real learning experience for your child, but as I said my son does enjoy looking at it. For more Too Big for Diapers (Too Big Board Books) reviews click here.
