Lonely Firefly
Book came in condition as ordered. Replaced batteries, and works most of the time (the band gets pulled out of whack sometimes), but not a big problem.

Great for the kids!
I really liked this book but you can't go wrong with Eric Carle. I love the last page... it has a special suprise that the kids will love. You will not be disappointed.

Great book - not so great battery life
This is a really cute book, my son loves it. We also have Eric Carle's "Brown Bear Brown Bear" so this is a great addition to his book collection. My son's favorite part of the book is the last page where all the fireflies are shining their lights and the book actually has blinking battery-powered lights. My only complaint is that the battery has already worn out and we've only had the book for about 3 weeks.

i'm sure the battery can be replaced, it just seems like it would have lasted longer.

Good book but...
My granddaughter and I enjoy reading this book very much, but when I received the book the batteries were dead. The batteries are $3.00 each, and it requires four of them. I paid $15.00 for the book, and so it will cost me almost what the book did to replace them!

Cute!
My son and I enjoy many of the Eric Carle books and this one is no exception. Of course he especially likes the end where all the fireflies light up.

Another classic!
Eric Carle's books are wonderful! This one is no exception! With few words and vibrant pictures, the reader is captivated with the story from the first page. I love the "little surprise" on the last page! This is one story we read over and over and over...again!
