July 3, 2008 My babies favorite I heard on the radio that this book is the #1 best selling fiction book (including adult books) of all time. I remember reading it as a kid and now I read it to my son who is eight months. We began reading it at five months and he loves it! I take his hand and run it accross the little holes. I bought the toy seperatlly and he loves that too... March 30, 2008 I love this book! My only qualm is that the book should be a bit bigger so the caterpillar toy can actually eat his way through all the foods... never mind, my two year old adores it anyway. December 29, 2007 . one of my favorite books as a kid that i am passing down to my friends new baby. i LOVE the little toy! it is tiny...(maybe 5" long?)..but it is perfect for the occasion. thank you! December 26, 2007 Love it! I love this story, so I had to get this set for my 6 month old baby. He loves the little stuffed caterpillar that comes with it, and he reaches for the book. Everyone knows this story, and putting it in a board book for little ones just makes it even better! December 24, 2007 Cute litltle book and toy for your toddler Well made hard page book and the included pluch catepillar is really nicely detailed. My ten month old will love looking at and playing with the book. I'll enjoy reading it to her. The plush is really nice but small, I would not give it to a baby unsupervised, but it's a nice addition to the gift set. Thanks January 18, 2007 raves by parents of the gift-receiver For my grandson's first birthday, I wanted a gift that would please him visually and stimulate him mentally. A friend suggested this book because her son had enjoyed it many years ago. Feedback from my grandson, through his parents, is that he enjoys the book very much, and the toy is nice but not as captivating as listening to someone reading the book. Thanks for a very good purchase. July 21, 2006 Classic Favorite This classic favorite captures the interest of children because the caterpillar "eats" its way through the pages of the book. There are actual holes in the pages. My 3-yr old niece loved the book and when she got her own copy she was thrilled. But the plush caterpillar made it even more special.
