Potty Train, The Review
User Submitted Potty Train, The ReviewsJanuary 18, 2008 This book inspired my child! This book is absolutely adorable and lends itself to reading in a sing-song chant (which both my kids love). Better yet, yesterday, my youngest made his first "stinky boom-boom" (yes, that's what my family calls it) in the potty WHILE we were reading this book! If that's not a stellar endorsement, I don't know what is! February 4, 2007 Fun supplement to teaching very young children to use the toilet all by themselves. Written by Dar Draper and illustrated by Sarah Dawn Atkinson, The Potty Train is a picturebook featuring a simple rhyming chat to help make toilet training fun for toddlers. The simplistic, colorful illustrations featuring toilet paper, trains, and children sitting on potties offer the perfect, child-friendly touch to this excellent read-aloud and share book. A checklist inside the back cover to mark off dates of toilet training achievements such as "Engineered the #1 engine (pee pee) on the Potty Train for the first time!" rounds out this fun supplement to teaching very young children to use the toilet all by themselves. "I'm here to stay. I'm in no rush. / I won't give up till time to flush! / I'm riding on the Potty Train! / I'll drink some water, drink some juice, / And sit right here on my caboose! / I'm chuggin' on the Potty Train!"
