Once Upon a Potty--Girl (Spanish edition): Mi bacinica y yo (para ella) Review
Alona Frankel's best-selling Once Upon a Potty books, featuring the two loveable characters Prudence and Joshua, are now available in a Spanish language edition. User Submitted Once Upon a Potty--Girl (Spanish edition): Mi bacinica y yo (para ella) ReviewsMay 12, 2007 Great for Spanish-speaking caregivers! I bought this book for my 18 month old son. We have been introducing him to the potty and he has the book in English--every time I say, "It's time to go to the potty!" he runs to find the book and then sits and turns the pages, pointing out and naming all the parts of the little boy's body. (So it's obviously great in English too:) My son goes to a babysitter who speaks almost no English, and so I try to pick up the books he has in English, in Spanish. I couldn't find this one in any store in NYC--strange, I thought--so I just ordered it and it came promptly and he is using the potty at the babysitter's now, too! October 16, 2004 A "potty classic", but too abstract. I think this is a cute, clever book, but it's a little abstract. The "chamber pot" that he uses as a potty looks nothing like today's potty chairs or toilets, so I'm not sure my child ever made the connection. (Especially since half of the book talks about "Is it a hat? Is it a flower vase? etc") There are other, more modern, books out there that I think gets kids' attention more. March 5, 1998 This book taught my little boy so much!!! This book is Great!! My little boy looks at the pictures every time he goes.
