A timeless masterpiece for children of all ages
Horton Hears a Who is a masterpiece. Often heralded as a book on friendship, it is much more than that. Theodor Seuss Geisel was an outspoken critic of Hitler and Mussolini, and Horton Hears a Who has been said to have been Geisel's call to support the fledgling democracy in Japan after World War II. But Horton is much more than that. Horton Hears a Who is a reminder of the importance of protecting those weaker than we and a timeless call for people to unite and speak up for themselves.

Horton, My Hero
If you haven't seen "Suessical the Musical" by all means do so. This clever adaption of Suess books and characters is just wonderful. The Horton books are primarily the source of this children's musical. Horton again shows what a fine elephant he is by standing fast to his ideals. Children can learn a lot by reading this rhyming, entertaining book.

Horton Hears A Hoo
I loved the book and my granddaughter was thrilled to get it. My 2 year old Grandson is too young to voice an opinion but his Mother was happy with the book.

Dr. Seuss
Need I say anything? It is Dr. Seuss....love it...love it! We saw the movie and my son loves to have me read to him.....he always compares between the book and the movie and points out similarities and differences! You cannot go wrong with Dr. Seuss!!!

I bought the book for my niece who turned 7. She loves Elephants so she was very excited when she opened her present!

Great Book
This is a great book, not exactly like the movie that has been released, so if you see the movie then expect this book to match the movie 100% you may be disappointed. I am a huge Seuss fan and this is one of my favorites.

Smart and cute
The story of "Horton hears a who" - in spite of being "oldish" - has a clear message to us, people. The tale itself is very smart and cute, it is fun to read for children AND adults as well. Thanks for shipping it to Hungary in a perfect condition. Ildikó

better than I expected
I have several Dr.Seuss books, and when I recieved this one...it was different. The book just happend to be a Party Edition, which made it larger and certainly more appealing to my boys. We love the book and are pleased that we purchased it from Amazon.
