ReviewsFebruary 21, 2010 Happy Valentine's Day Mouse I bought this for my inquisitive three year old. We both really enjoyed it. February 21, 2010 Cute Valentines book Reviewed by Max Aures (age 3 ½) and Mom for Reader Views (02/10) "Happy Valentine's Day, Mouse!" is part of the "If You Give..." series of books. In this book we follow Mouse as he makes Valentine's cards for all of his friends. Max: "I like this Mouse. He uses a lot of glue like I use a lot of glue! The bottle is bigger than he is though! I liked when the moose was painting. He uses lots of colors but he got it all over the floor. When they played hide and seek the bunny hid in the bucket and I don't think the mouse could find him! I want to make Valentine's too!" Parent's comments: We enjoy the Mouse from "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" by Laura Numeroff and my son was happy to see him in this new book. The illustrations are very cute and fun to look at. Reading the book got my son excited to make valentines for his teachers and to exchange with his friends at preschool. Thus sturdy board book would be great for younger children to help get them in the Valentine's Day spirit! February 15, 2010 Happy Valentines Day Mouse! Children loved this book at our pre-school. Great pictures, story about friends, and children loved looking for mouse on each page of the story. It related to them, because they too were making valentines for their friends. February 10, 2010 not as good as you would think I love the book, "If you Give a Mouse A Cookie" - this is nothing like that! It's really simple, not a lot of words, but has a joke the kids don't get. Mouse says is going to make a valentine card for his friend Fox, 'even though she isn't one.' Get it? Preschoolers don't!! February 3, 2010 Happy Valentine's Day, Mouse! Very cute book. Drawings are just adorable. My daughter loves these books and this is now her favorite! For more Happy Valentine's Day, Mouse!
