User Submitted Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed (Board Book) ReviewsJune 16, 2008 absolute favorite night time book for my kids.. my little girl will ask me, long story or short story? depending on what time it is and how tired I am is how we decide. When it's late, we always go for a short story, and she always picks this one. My girl and my son gather on the bed and read our favorite book. We've read it so often, they'll recite the words as we read. Always puts us in a good mood and gets us ready for bed. What a joy!. June 16, 2008 Ugh! Can't stand this book Not only is this book really boring, but my kids start jumping on the bed and go nuts every time I read it. It makes them hyper when I'm trying to get them to settle down for the evening. I'll never read it to them again. June 2, 2008 My little "monkey's" favorite book My three year old son absolutely loves this book. And, now, thanks to having the CD, he can listen to the story on his own when I get tired of reading it over and over again. The book is simply a brightly illustated, bound version of the popular children's rhyme, but somehow it's a big hit. The CD/book combo is a great value, especially for amount of use we are getting out of it! May 29, 2008 5 monkeys My granddaughter considers this her favorite book.. She is 2 1/2 years old. It is very sturdy and good for her small hands... January 28, 2008 We love this book! My son and I read this book together every day. It is not only one of his favorites but also one of mine. Cute book, great little song, but come on, the monkeys really don't listen to mom or the doc, and then once they're all injured and bandaged mom jumps on the bed? My wife wanted this book for our baby's collection because she grew up with this book and she loved it as a child. This book gives children the pictures to go along with the related song, too. March 16, 2006 Useless This book is boring, doesn't teach the child anything new (might as well just sing the easy lyrics), and the illustrations are dull. Waste of money! January 30, 2006 Daughter's Favorite Bedtime Story This has become our daughter's favorite bedtime story. She's 3 1/2 and I wish that I had gotten the book earlier. She likes to read along with us, and has each monkey say "goodnight mama" in different voices. At first she wanted to jump on the bed as well but she didn't liked being called a silly monkey.
