This is by far my daughters all time favorite!! April 7, 2007 C'MON, IT'S DR. SEUSS!!! THE ONLY THING THAT I CAN SAY IS THAT YOU CAN'T BEAT THE PRICES ON THESE BOOKS FROM AMAZON. THEY WERE MY FAVORITES AS A KID AND NOW I GET TO ENJOY THEM ALL OVER AGAIN WITH MY OWN CHILDREN. January 16, 2007 ABC board book - easy to hold and read! This is a cute little board book that is easy to hold and read to kids. It has the Dr. Seuss flair along with funny pictures and rhymes. January 10, 2007 learning! I swear again, that my baby learned letters quicker this way! It's a fun read and tongue twister that is a challenge at first for the reader. Babies and toddlers love this one. December 17, 2006 Dr. Seuss's ABC's I rate this book four stars because this book is great for young children just learning the alphabet. It is especially great for those just learning to read. It teaches letters of the alphabet and words that start with the letter. This gives the children something reat to relate to. All the way from "A for Aunt Annie's alligator" to "Z for Zizzer Zazzer Zoo" June 13, 2008 Really disapointed! I didn't know that what I ordered were adaptations of the origial. I saw a cheaper price and ordered them. My daughter loves Dr.Seuss but not in this version. I think it would be fair to advertize the book as being the short edition, or adptation, specify clearly that it is not the entire text. I hope that I can return them because I want the real Dr. Seuss and not the " butchered" one, as one of the previous reviewers said. Dan January 29, 2008 Love, love, love! A true classic! The cute rhymes as you teach your child(ren) the alphabet, only as Dr. Seuss can do! Very entertaining to the child as they learn and for the person reading it to them. It's not too wordy. A must have! December 7, 2007 I actually love this "revised version" I have an 18 month old who will not sit still for the original version but LOVES this one. She particularly likes its rhythm and repetition. Unlike the original, every letter begins with "Big "X", Little "x" what begins with "X"? She'll move her shoulder's back and forth in rhythm every time I say this sentence, waiting for the answer to follow. Young toddlers find that repetition comforting. . . if you want an example, how many times have the insisted on seeing their favorite movie? Nuff said. Get this book for a younger toddler and introduce them to reading. June 25, 2007 Fun and rhythmic book for young ones My daughter has loved this book since she was six months old. She is now two and still requests us to read this book to her. It's fun and wonderful, and I strongly recommend it for anyone under 4.
