Doesn't Keep Son's Attention
I was a little disappointed. THis book doesn't keep my almost-two-year olds attention as well as I thought. He prefers his Sandra Boyton books much better. I do love the colorful pictures though. Maybe in a year or so he'll be more interested.

Excellent book!
I love this book. It's a great "find-the-hidden-things" kind of book that kids love, and it teaches vocabulary in a fun way. Kids can learn the names of many different kinds of animals, as well as the descriptive words that illustrate them (e.g. who has horns, who is backward, who is sleeping, etc.) Finding the hidden descriptors is not super obvious even to adults, so it also teaches them to look closely at details when finding things.

I recommend this book to anyone with young kids - the kids love it and it's a great teaching tool as well!

Who's So Happy they Bought this Book? I am!
Awesome, awesome book. Great for memory skill building, great for noticing detail, fun for interacting together. This is a book we all look forward to at our house! Love, love it. Wish there were more books like it. Love the illustrations too, and the clean modern design. Just awesome, you won't regret buying this one- the sooner the better!

Clever & Unique
Always looking for new and imaginitive books for my 2-year-old. Was pleased to find this one. The "guessing games" get more difficult as you turn the page, with fewer clues as to the animal's species being revealed. Eventually the child must call upon memory recollection to guess the animals. Wonderfully challenging for a preschooler, or any child learning their animals.

Simple and fun
I got this book at an airport for my 4 yr old and 3 yr old boys. They are just a tad old for this book but they thought it was hilarious. They loved it. I would recommend this for anyone with a toddler. Perfect for before bedtime story.

Who's Hiding is a FUN book!
Although the book appears really simple on first flip-through, "Who's Hiding" really makes kids think ... and they learn new vocabulary and memorization skills while they're at it. We checked the book out of the library, but liked it so much that after renewing it once, bought it so we'd have our own copy.

ADORABLE AND FUN!
FOUND THIS BOOK AT THE LOCAL LIBRARY AND MY 2-YR-OLD SON IMMEDIATELY TOOK TO IT. HE LOVED FINDING WHICH ANIMAL WAS ACTING OUT WHAT BEHAVIOR. WHEN THE CAPITON ASKS, "WHO'S CRYING?", HIS EYES WOULD SEARCH AND SEARCH PAGE UNTIL HE'D FIND THE TEARY-EYED BUNNY AND POINT TO HIM SAYING, "RABBIT!", & MIMICKING HIS MISERABLE LITTLE FROWNY FACE. AND WHEN THE CAPTION ASKS, "WHO'S ANGRY?", AGAIN HE'D SEARCH AND SEARCH, POINTING OUT THE ANGRY ANIMAL AND SHOWING ME HIS CORRESPONDING MAD FACE. IT WAS GREAT FUN FOR BOTH OF US!

A fun challenge!
I love this book! We bought it for a friend of our daughter's; our daughter herself is not quite old enough for it, but I definitely plan on getting it for her once she's ready! It's a fun challenge for children and adults alike to try and spot who's hiding, who's backwards, who's sad, etc. in each picture. In fact, I found myself stumped a few times, finally figuring out the answer after a very careful study of the page! It is a great book for kids because it gives them a reason to concentrate on each page and to use their problem-solving skills, as well as their memory. I really like that kids get to play an active role in the reading of this book, rather than simply taking on the role of the passive listener. I plan to recommend this book to the pre-school I work at, as well as to friends of mine with children.

darling book, clever idea
Others have offered great reviews of what is in this book, so I'm just putting in my two cents on age appropriateness: I bought this book for my 4.5 year old daughter, and she liked reading through it once, but doesn't particularly want to read it again. I'm completely charmed by it (hence the 5 stars - she can fill out her own dang review if she disagrees!) and am looking forward to the day when my 1.5 year old boy is more interested in it, which should be soon.
