User Submitted Where is Baby's Mommy? ReviewsAugust 9, 2008 I do like Katz's books. I really like her cute artwork, and I like her direct way of writing to little kids. It works very well for them. I do want to say, though, that this book is not very strongly constructed, which seems a terrible error, given the age range! Keep it on a high shelf, definitely. It's a book to be read with supervision. October 31, 2007 There's Better Out There The illustrations on this is very mediocre. If you're looking for a children's book, try pop-up ones, they're almost always beautifully illustrated. I suggest the pop-up version of The Snowmen. September 15, 2007 good for separation anxiety stage I first read this book when my daughter was 6 months old, she is 27months old now and still loves reading the book. we play act the book now, and she's full of laughs. November 10, 2006 Excellent Though my Son likes books of all kinds, he absolutely loves this and other Karen Katz lift-the-flap books. The illustrations are so simple, colorful and bright. After having read it a zillion times, he still is not tired of smiling everytime he finds mommy! August 6, 2006 Where is Baby's Mommy? My 20-month daughter absolutely loves this book. Lifting all the flaps and being suprised everytime to see what is behind them. Always when she finds the Mommy I say " There's mommy" she looks at me with her big brown eyes and says "NO" and points to me and says "Mommy". The book is absolutely ADORABLE. August 4, 2006 Perfect for my two-year old!!! Hide and seek is his favorite game so this book is perfect. With every flap he says, "Noooooo" and gleefully "YES!" on the last page. And mommy is hiding under the blanket, which is his favorite place to hide (or for me to hide)! It is our favorite out of all the Katz books! July 4, 2006 This book is fantastic! My year old daughter picks this book out for us to read every day. Usually we read it at least five times a day! She loves the flaps and gets excited everytime we flip one up. I recommend any titles by Karen Katz, she loves them all! May 11, 2006 Sweet Book I love reading this one with my son. He's 2 years old and we have been reading it for over a year. He loves peek-a-boo and this is a very peek-a-bo oriented book. :) There are flaps for him to pull down and up and over and he loves it. Very creative illustrations and just an all around great book for ages 1 - 3 or 4. I know he's going to enjoy this book for a while.
