My granddaughters just love it and want it read over & over! August 10, 2008 Wonderful, wonderful book! This is absolutely a lovely book. The illustrations are soothing for bedtime, and the rhythmic story makes for a perfect bedtime story. I have been reading this to my son since he was born, and he still loves it at 3 years old. Great bonding experience with this wonderful story. July 19, 2008 A true bedtime story This is a great book that I would recommend to all for those quite moments just before sleep. This gentle story leads you through an array of animals as they settle down for the night. I find the pictures great and the gentle rhythm of the book a delight. I could not as more of a bedtime story. July 18, 2008 Classic Bedtime Story I read this book to my daughter many nights from the night she was born until she was old enough for chapter books. She loved the cadence of the rhymes and would repeat them along with me as she got older. Now my oldest step-daughter is having her first baby so this is one of the books we got her - we hope it will be a favorite in her house as well! May 18, 2008 Best Bedtime Book Ever This gentle rhyming book is the perfect bedtime book. I buy it to give to all my new mother and grandmother friends. The illustrations are beautiful and peaceful. In the book, the animal moms are talking with their babies about it being time for bed. When I close my eyes, I can hear my son reading it to his baby boys. If you want to share the love and joy of books, buy this...the best bedtime book ever! April 26, 2008 Time for Bed This is a great book to add to your toddlers bedtime routine. The illustrations are beautiful and the words have a simple rhyme that cues your little one that it's time for bed/time for sleep. Each animal is with their parent preparing them for sleep, and the last two pages is a mother and her child. My 1 year old seems to really enjoy it. April 11, 2008 A must-have from birth to 6 and beyond If your kids are like mine, these sweetest illustrations will actually make them cuddle into you by the second page turn! One you can read from birth on, these sweet, short rhymes, reinforce the love of a parent and baby child in a beautiful, creative way. March 28, 2008 Time for Bed Time for Bed is a gorgeous children's bedtime book with wonderful watercolor illustrations. It has been my granddaughter's favorite book and so I ordered several for baby shower gifts. As one who does watercolors myself, I am delighted with the work of the artist as well as the writer.
