User Submitted The Official Pokémon Handbook ReviewsApril 19, 2008 Kids 6 and 8 love it The kids just love this book. Amazing how they can sound out each name and read all about these characters. This book tells about the height and weight of the characters so my guys have been measuring and weighing things to get a better idea of how big the characters are. They chat about the different powers and who evolves into what. It is very cute to see my boys enjoy something together. I really feel that their reading skills have improved as well as their understanding of measurement and weight. No, it is not a science, history or math book but they are developing a love of reading and learning a little too! December 13, 2007 A must have for Pokemon collectors! This was the second copy I purchased for my son. He looked at the other one so much it fell apart. If your child likes Pokemon, this is the book to buy. December 11, 2007 Handbook I personally don't know much about Pokemon, but my son absolutely loves Pokemon, so he really enjoyed getting the handbook. October 19, 2007 Great Book We got this book for my five year old because he loves Pokemon. It was a great book for me too. I learned a lot about how the world of Pokemon works. March 10, 2007 one of my favirtes This book is great i ve had three copies now i have one in great shape. The great description of the book and the charcters and the pokedex. The book has description of the pokemons powers and speciel oppentent type and the weakness I reccomand you reading this book March 8, 2007 Official Pokemon Handbook My eight-year-old granddaughter--a big Pokemon fan--loves this handbook and refers to it often. Glad I had it sent to her. February 11, 2007 Great Handbook! The Official Pokemon Handbook is a great, elaborate way to learn about Pokemon, you can be any age to enjoy this handbook! It teaches you the original 151 Pokemon, that also includes Togepi! What about trainers? Yes! This book also tells you about the trainers and other characters. If you are playing the Kanto rpg games, it tells you the City, leader, and their Pokemon! It's a great handbook, I'm a Pokemon fan myself, I liked this book a whole lot! They have from Bulbasaur all the way to Togepi. If you are looking for a book on Hoenn pokemon, this one won't suit because this one only covers Kanto pokemon! There is even a introduction by Professor Oak in the book as well. This is good for new fans as well, because it shows most of the Pokemon you will be training in the games. The book is a great one, and I suggest it to Pokemon fans. January 14, 2007 best pokemon handbook This book tells you all you need to know about the first 151 pokemon,plus togepei.It also tells you how to beat gym leaders and the elite four.If you buy this book,you won't have any regrets. October 8, 2006 The best handbook in the world!! It has all the pokemon you need and know about. My favorite parts are the pokemon you see in the book. If you want to buy it, just buy it.
