User Submitted The Everything Kids' Science Experiments Book: Boil Ice, Float Water, Measure Gravity-Challenge the World Around You! (Everything Kids Series) ReviewsNovember 22, 2008 My nephew loves this book Bought the book for my nephew. He loves it. Lots of great experiments using household items. September 21, 2008 science I have not used them yet with my son because they are for his birthday, but I have great expectations for them. August 25, 2008 Excellent product I am using this book as a Homeschool Science Course for my children grades 4th, 3rd, and 1st. It is an excellent book with loads of engaging activities. The activities are usually things you have lying around at home in junk drawers, they are inexpensive, fast, convenient and exciting. I am enjoying the experiments as much as my kids. Highly recommended. May 26, 2008 Best fun we had product provided hours of fun for grandkids. especailly the list for things to make a science kit. Now we don't have to look for the things to have fun with. Good book. May 19, 2008 Great teaching tool This book contains a well rounded selection of projects for kids so they can experiment with a wide range of science topics. They are all easy to complete and understand and have a good specific message and illustrate scientific ideas very well. May 14, 2008 The Everything Kids' Science Experiments Book The Everything Kids' Science Experiments Book is an ideal book for older school age children for Science projects. The experiments offer a detailed investigation into each concept being explored by children. Many of the experiments do require adult supervision due to the complexity of some of the experiments that require multiple steps. It is most suitable for middle school and early high school students. Additional facts related to the concept being explored are mentioned to peak the science student's interest in the topic. The experiments require moderate to extensive planning by teachers or parents while supporting the young learner. January 13, 2008 OH YES! my eight year old got this when she was 7. she loves it. nice pictures and explanations. Needs parental supervision of course. I would recommend this book if your child loves science. fun family bonding time! Teaches children science concepts in a fun way! December 20, 2007 So Cool! This book is so cool. Bought one for a gift but will be buying one for my house. October 21, 2007 Plenty to Keep Children Busy Great book, chocked full of projects. Easy to follow instructions. Many of the items for the experiments are household items, which keeps the costs of supplies low. Parental participation a must with some experiments. A+ book. August 16, 2007 GREAT!!!!! 2 things - 1) you have to do the dissolving egg experiment... it's fabulous!! 2) pay attention to the age range - my nephew (the intended recipient) loves science (okay, exploding things...) just turned seven and he is definitely too young for the detailed explanations. He didn't like the delayed gratification but he did get a kick out of the results the following week... for the younger kids you might want to do the experiments yourself and then once you have results let them get excited about it... the bouncing egg... after accepting that it didn't happen just then!! ... was a huge hit the next week. This really is just an AWESOME book... For more The Everything Kids' Science Experiments Book: Boil Ice, Float Water, Measure Gravity-Challenge the World Around You!
