Summerhill Secrets, Volume 1: Whispers Down the Lane/Secret in the Willows/Catch a Falling Star/Night of the Fireflies/A Cry in the Dark (Summerhill Secrets 1-5) Review
User Submitted Summerhill Secrets, Volume 1: Whispers Down the Lane/Secret in the Willows/Catch a Falling Star/Night of the Fireflies/A Cry in the Dark (Summerhill Secrets 1-5) ReviewsJune 23, 2008 Amish Book Enjoy the story of this book. We live in amish community.. Love to have them as neighbors...A very interesting book. June 6, 2008 summerhill book this was a terrific book, could not put it down. But couldn't wait to get started on book 2 Loved it May 7, 2008 Needs to be listed as youth book I love Beverly Lewis as an author, this is why I order this book. Either I didn't see it or it wasn't listed, but this book is written for pre-teens or teenagers. I was disapointed needless to say. Young girls should like it. April 14, 2008 teenage book I did not know that it was a book for teenager girls but I enoyed it immensely. It was entertaining. March 25, 2008 Magnificent Merry Summerhill Secrets is a super novel about a 15 yr. old girl, Merry, who follow's God's law and grows as a teenage Christian. The 5 stories in this book are very well written and interesting. This book was a quick read, but still awesome and I learned a lot about the Amish too. Have fun with Merry as she experiences everyday things teenagers can experience today. Summerhill Secrets by Beverly Lewis is definitley a 5 star, must read, book for any Christian teen. February 13, 2008 summerhill secrets volume 1 &2 What a nice way to see a young girl grow up .You suffer Her pain and live Her joy. Also you get to know the amish from the non amish point of view. It was great to see how they co-mingle , and care for all people . November 1, 2007 these books are YOUTH FICTION I was disapointed to find that these are for youth. I am sure they are good as all her books are but I would not have bought them if I had known. It should be put into the ad. October 24, 2007 You'll want to keep reading this book until you're done! A nice wholesome series with thought provoking dilemmas. My 11 year old daughter devoured the books and couldn't wait to read the next book in the series. She "made" me read them as well, and I thoroughly enjoyed them. They are perfect for girls ages 11 - 14 (as the book states on the back cover); I doubt boys would find them as interesting. Even though my daughter is an avid reader who reads much more challenging books, this remains a series she recommends to others. August 30, 2006 Disappointed I think Beverly Lewis is one of the BEST authors! However, I was very disappointed to get this shipment. There was NO mention that these were children's books! In the future, I hope you will mention this in the description. July 18, 2000 A Preview of the Summer Hill Secrets collection These are exceptionally well written books! The story makes youfeel like you also have an Amish family as neighbors. You can learnabout a young girl's life and her many adventures with friends, school, and family. Although not everyone is facing the same dilemas as Merry ,the main character in these books, many can relate to having friendships that are worth a sacrafice. I recommend these books to everyone. It will keep you interested for hours.
