Pajama Time! Review
A jump-roping chicken and a pig on a swing. A Scottie in plaid pajamas and an elephant in a fuzzy one-piece with feet. And in sing-along nuttiness reminiscent of Barnyard Dance!, it's time to head to bed-to the beat: Pajammy to the left. Pajammy to the right. Jamma jamma jamma jamma P!J! Everybody's wearing them for dancing tonight. Jamma jamma jamma jamma P!J! Then the next morning, Hey! Wake Up!: Yawn. Stretch. Touch your toes. Shimmy shimmy shimmy, Wiggle your nose. Just watch out for the broccoli stew. (Ew.) User Submitted Pajama Time! ReviewsOctober 12, 2008 Another Great Bedtime Story Sandra Boynton does it again. She knows the routine, she sets it up perfectly and bedtime is easier because of her efforts. Our kids and grandkids loved these stories in a poetic rhyme. Now we are giving them out as Godparents to our neat friends we help mentor along life's way. Wonderful books! September 8, 2008 My favorite Sandra Boynton I absolutely have loved reading this so much to our two older grandchildren that I just had to order another for the third one! Can't say enough about the concept, rhythms, characters, etc. For me it even tops Barnyard Dance, which is my other Boynton favorite, although the two have much in common. August 10, 2008 Fun and festive book for sharing at bedtime! This book is wonderfully written, as with most of Sandra Boynton's works. The illustrations are very entertaining, and the story is fun and festive. I have been reading this to my son since he was born, and he especially enjoys this book now at 3 years old. One of our top 5 favorites! June 4, 2008 One of my son's favorite books My son absolutely loves this book. It is such a cute book.. I think Sandra Boynton does son an amazing job with all her books! May 25, 2008 Love this book! Great book for little ones. My twins are 19 months and love to hear this book over and over again. You can make a song out of the words. Great for bedtime reading. May 25, 2008 great book to sing or rap to...hahaha my friend's husband raps this to his son and he loves it. we just read it to her in a semi-sing songy way and she loves it. both kids have been enjoying the books for months and now about a year and a half old April 25, 2008 One of my favorites! I love this book. Now if my wife and I could only agree on the right way to pronounce Pajama... March 3, 2008 Wasn't as advertised/promised Although the item was advertised as new, it arrived in a clearly worn & seemingly used condition. This was especially disappointing since the item was intended as part of a gift, and at that point there wasn't enough time to simply exchange it & wait for another one so I had to go shopping to replace it. February 9, 2008 Another Hit Loved this book. But don't recommend reading it before bed time because it is going to make you want to get up and dance around the room and sing the P J song. I dreamed of singing this song while the kids are getting into their PJs. It is yet to happen. January 12, 2008 Jamma Jamma Jamma Jamma P-J! I LOVE this book! And isn't that what REALLY makes us buy books for our kids? I've certainly read (and re-read) books that I'm not fond of b/c my son loves them but, like most parents, I try to avoid that at all costs! This is an adorable book that we all love to read and listen to! The writing is playful but not "dumb." The rhymes all work and the pictures are fun! My 3yo has this book (and MANY other Sandra Boynton books) memorized and most nights he reads it to us instead of the other way around! We like to do our own special little actions along with the story and make some pretty big n silly inflections! I would recommend this for every night time routine! :D For more Pajama Time! reviews click here.
