Moo Baa La La La Review
User Submitted Moo Baa La La La ReviewsAugust 30, 2010 All of us love this book! Me, my husband, and son all love this book. It is funny (so we don't mind reading over and over... and over), and yet very simple! Of course we make the actual animal sounds as much as possible to amuse my 12 month old. August 13, 2010 fun and colorful both my baby (6 months old) and myself enjoy reading this book a lot, my baby trys to grab the funny looking animals in the book :) btw, i got it from marshalls for $3.99 only. August 10, 2010 Funny "Animal Sounds" Book with a Surprise Sandra Boynton is a name you should become familiar with. Her books are fantastic gems. Moo Baa La La La is a wonderful "animal sound" book with a funny surprise in the middle. You'll go through the sounds for such animals as: cows, sheep, pigs, ducks, horses, rhinoceroses, dogs, and cats. It's funny to hear adults read this book. As they get to the part of what the rhino's say, our brains aren't quite sure if rhinoceroses is the correct word or if we should say something like "rhinocerosi". And hearing the different types of "snorting and snuffing" brings down the house. Be sure to have grandma and grandpa read this to your little one so you, too, can have a blast. You won't find any audio or texture features in this book but your child will enjoy growing up with this easy-to-read and echo book. July 15, 2010 Love this book! I didn't know what all the hype was over these books until we read them. My daughter who is 10 months LOVES this book...she loves the part when the "three singing pigs say LA LA LA" she loves to say LALALA....then at the end when you read it's quiet now what do you say"- She goes LALALALALA so funny! This has become our new favorite book- I highly recommend this! July 13, 2010 Silly Book Allows for Flexible Reading This was our first Boynton book for baby. My husband and I have different storytelling styles that include whispering, singing, and so on. This book (as with most of Boynton's books) allow for a wide range of style in storytelling that can accommodate different reading adults AND the growing child. The same story can have a different narrative voice, as it were, for years to come. For more Moo Baa La La La reviews click here.
