Good Night, Dora!: A Lift-the-Flap Story Review
User Submitted Good Night, Dora!: A Lift-the-Flap Story ReviewsNovember 19, 2008 Great books, no problems for us! My daughter, who is almost 3, really enjoys this book. Most of the books we've previously had that had flaps were generally destroyed quickly. This one is holding up quite well and it is a cute story. I guess age may have something to do with how durable it could be too. October 25, 2007 Good Night, Dora! This is such a sweet book. My Grandaughter loves it and even my 15 month old Grandson gets a kick out of lifting the flaps while you read it. Dora teaches such good lessons and this book is no exception. Buy it - your children will love it. August 23, 2007 Who's making that sound? My 4-year old really enjoys this book. Dora and Boots are making their way home for bedtime, and along the way they hear various animals making noises. It's interactive as well as just fun to peek under the flaps and find out who's making the sounds. Not recommended for children who still rip book pages--the flaps would be too tempting. August 7, 2007 Great bedtime book for toddler My 2 year old loves reading this book right before bedtime. The lift-a-flap is fun too. She loves saying goodnight to all the animals as they are going to bed. Best of all, you get to say goodnight to Dora at the end of the book. June 14, 2007 Son's Favorite What can I say, 3 year olds love Dora and my son is no different. He really enjoyed this book. May 1, 2007 great Dora book for the price For $5.99 and Free Super Saver Shipping on Amazon this Dor Lift-the-Flap book is a very nice buy. Our little girl (1yr 10mos) loves this book. She really enjoys the lifting up the flaps. I don't really understand one of the 'Spotlight Reviers' giving this book 2 stars. Yes. It's not a board book and it's 'saddle stapled', but what do you expect for $5.99. This book will keep your little one entertained and is fairly durable. I recommend this and other Dora Lift-the-Flap books for your little explorer. January 20, 2007 Dora the Explorer---Good Night, Dora! flap book Charming board book for preschoolers with flaps to lift up so the child can interact with the book. Excellent book to use at bedtime. January 3, 2007 Another Dora Hit My Dora-crazed 2 1/2 year old loves this book. She really enjoys the lift the flap books anyway so this combined w/ Dora was a really big hit. Introduced many spanish words and for a great little help for us parents, it has the correct pronunciation in the front. July 10, 2006 not just for bedtime This book has become a favorite in my house, as my child is a big Dora fan. We read it all day, not just at bedtime, as it is colorful and easy to make interactive. As we read the story, my son makes the sounds of the animals in the book and then says goodnight to them. One drawback is that it is not durable as the flaps can be torn off my playful toddlers. We are on our second copy, but still love it. June 29, 2006 Great Story and fun to read w/ toddler Let me start by saying my daughter loves Dora books. So when I got this one as a book to read before bed I knew she would like it. Enough said it's a fun way to send the little one off to bed. I like reading it with her, when she says what the animal is in English I'll repeat the name but in Spanish. Now she looks for the owl in the book by it's Spanish name. I really recommend this book, it's a book that you can read more than 2 times without a heavy sigh coming out. For more Good Night, Dora!: A Lift-the-Flap Story reviews click here.
