Now we’re facing our last summer together. In September we go to college. And it’s not like one of those TV shows where all of us magically turn up at the same college. We’re going to four different colleges in four different cities (but all within four hours of one another—that was our one rule). We’re headed off to start our real lives. I enjoyed the first 2 books in the series and the third was not a disappointment! Good read. August 24, 2008 The best one of the books Girls in Pants:the third summer of the sisterhood is my favortie of the four books. my favortie story line is Bee's becasue she goes back to camp and see's Eric again! April 20, 2008 Great! I absolutely love this series on the traveling pants. While it's been many years since I was a teenager, it's not hard to remember feeling the emotions these girls feel. These books are so well written, following along as the girls grow and mature through various life situations and stages. You cry and you laugh. I highly recommend this entire series. March 28, 2008 Third Summer Graduation! It's a big step for the sisterhood and this book is even better than the first two. December 31, 2007 Older readers will like it also I am 25 and I loved this series and this book is as good as the first. December 28, 2007 Another Summer with the Pants This third installment is a welcome addition to the series. I couldn't help but feel that it was more predictable than the previous books. Overall, I enjoyed the book and sensed that each of the characters were maturing and seemingly more introspective in their lives. I look forward to reading the next books. December 26, 2007 Still hooked I still find myself drawn into the book and hard to put it down. The characters continue to grow so much!! December 17, 2007 As great as the first two Girls in pants is the 3rd book in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series by author Ann Brashares. This book is just as good as the first two, but of course the 4 girls are being faced with new and different problems that they have to deal with by themselves. Even so, the traveling pant's magic keeps them connected. Carmen has to deal with the fear of getting replaced when her mom and step-dad are about to have a baby right when she is about to go off to college. Tibby has to face her fears about her little sister and her friend/crush Brian. Bridget goes back to a different summer soccer camp but this time as a coach. Find out what happens when a old "friend" comes back into her life. Last but not least, Lena must fight for what she believes in when her father doesn't support her dream to go to art school. To find out what happens next you have to read the book so, enjoy!!! June 27, 2007 Another Great Read I stayed up till 3 o'clock in the morning reading this book, it was so good. This 3rd installment in the sisterhood of the traveling pants series was a great, easy summer read. Ann Brashares did another fabulous job on this novel. Once again this one, tells the story of the four girls as they embark on new journeys in life. High school is over and the girls are saddend by the fact that this is their last summer together. Carmen gets a job taking care of Lena's grandmother and she convines the Kiligares to let her go back to Greece. Carmen finds out her mother is pregnant and Tibby helps deliver the baby, while having a strong relationship with Brian. Bridget goes to a soccer camp in Pennslyvania where she mets up again with Diana, her soccer friend, and Eric, former coach whom she has fallen in love with. Bridget gets back to gether with Eric, and things work out great. Lena is caught up with her job and wants to go to art school, which her father doesn't approve of, so she works to get a scholarship and succeeds. Overall this book was another great book written by a great author. You should definitely read this series! April 28, 2007 Fast read!! I loved the second and third books of the Sisterhood. (I had to wait for a bit until the fourth one came out but loved that one just as much.) Brashares's writing flows so smoothly - it's a fantastic and realistic take on girls' lives. I'm just heartbroken that this series has come to an end. Other suggested books to get you through the summer: Sunshine by NSLee Sunshine, Stargirl (Readers Circle) by Jerry Spinelli.
