Eragon / Eldest (Inheritance, Books 1 & 2) Review
User Submitted Eragon / Eldest (Inheritance, Books 1 & 2) ReviewsOctober 16, 2008 cant stop reading Ive read all 3 books thus far and i hae to say that these have made it onto my top list. most people keep saying that the book is full of grammatical and other mistakes. But im no english scholar. i dont read books to look for misprininting or mistakes, i read them to get away from the world, and relax. i believe that is why most parents wont allow thire kids to read great books such as this. would you rather ave your kids playing GTA4, or reading this book? September 17, 2008 Eragon and Eldest Hardback Book Set I love these books and the hard back set is well worth a few extra bucks. The box the books come in is beautiful along with the book covers themselves. I love these book so much, and they are a valuable addition to my library. July 27, 2008 My oldest boy loves them I had never heard of any of these books til my son went to Wal-Mart w/ my mother and came home w/ the paperback version. He loves anything that has to do w/ Dragon's and stuff. He was right at the end of the book when the movie came out and the book fell apart on him. He hurried up and gathered all the pages and finished reading it so I would buy him the movie when it came out on DVD. Now let me tell you never have a child read a book and then watch a movie about it they always have to say what is missing. He just finished the second book and he is waiting for the movie to come out on it. Buy the Hard Copies. The Paperback will fall apart in no time. If you are into Dragon's, Fantasy, Harry Potter or anything in that nature then you will want to get this set to add to your collection. Hope this review helps some. July 6, 2008 Eragon and Eldest of the Inheritance Books I think these books were brilliantly written and I am excited to read the third. May 20, 2008 Awsome!!! This book were very good I just wished that the begining of the movie was close to the books beginning. other then thet it was awsome!!! May 5, 2008 LOVE THESE BOOKS! I absolutely LOVE these two books!! I've had them less than a month and have read them both twice! I am ANXIOUSLY awaiting the third!!! January 1, 2008 Excellent Book! I would like to say that I loved reading these two books! I was completely envloped in the story, I even went to sleep dreaming about the world Eragon lived in and what will happen next! I have heard alot of bad things about Eragon, but I think they were talking about the movie, because the movie did not do the book any sort of justice. However, I am waiting, anxiously waiting the release of the next book in the series, and I wish that it would never end!! December 14, 2007 Eragon/Eldest Review Again our hero is left facing a superior foe, with no clue how to save the planet. Highly entertaining fantasy story that leaves you wanting to know--- what's next. I look forward to the third installation. Mr. Paolini is amazing and all young adults should take note of what a 17 year old can accomplish. October 11, 2007 Awasome Great book for the young and old, if you like fantasy, you'll like this. It is 100% better than the movie. October 7, 2007 Barely stands out in the crowd. As I've said, these books are great, wonderful. When I was reading them first two years ago, I found myself dreaming about it at night and picking it up first thing in the morning. These are books that truly capture the imagination and brilliantly well written. Unfortunately, it has a lot of competition. With so many other great fantasy books out there, it's really hard to stand out in the crowd. Consequently, they've slowly faded from my mind. True, when the third book finally does come out, odds are I will be at these books again with the same ferocity as I had with the Harry Potter books, but for now, they simply sit on the book shelf collecting dust. On a happier note, I've read both of the Inheritance books at least three times each, and you simply can't help but get excited during some great moments, and the art work for the covers is simply fantastic. Still, there are so many other stories out there just like this one... Tell you what. Get these books, because Paolini is a truly talented writer and destined to go places, and you decide whether you like them or not. And who knows, maybe soon in the future, he will come out with an even more exciting, more original story. For more Eragon / Eldest (Inheritance, Books 1 & 2) reviews click here.
