This is the best book ever!!!
I love Ed Emberley and the techniques that he uses to teach drawing.

This book is my favorite because it's packed with all kinds of things to draw. Gumball machines, people in action, animals, trucks, planes, you name it.

You really can draw your own little world.

This would be a great gift with some paper and markers for the young budding artist.

My friend's son LOVES Ed Emberley!
I bought this for a friends son who is 7. This is the only Ed Emberely book that he didn't have. He loves them!

Ed Emberley's Drawing Book: Make a World (Ed Emberley Drawing Books)
Great book for kids who like to draw but have trouble doing it freehand. Nice step-by-step instructions.

eh... disappointed :(
I was disappointed that the inside drawings looked just like the cover drawings... duh, I suppose, but I was expecting more. I gave it to the 9-year-old 'patient' anyway, but wasn't excited about doing so.

Highly recommended
I was not familiar with this book before I bought it; however, it was recommended by the teachers of the students for which this and several other Ed Emberley books were purchased. From the thank yous I have received, this book was a real hit! It is used in a Native American Mission School with great enthusiasm and even better results. What more could you ask for?

Changed my life
This was quite simply the greatest book I remember from my childhood. I went through two hardcover copies of Make a World as a child because I used it daily and it got worn and tattered. I am now in my early 30s, and am a licensed architect at one of the world's top architecture firms. I credit this book for instilling in me a deep love of drawing. I realize now that the title of this book is really a profound dictum for my chosen career: it is my job as an architect not just to draw a building, but to literally make a world within a building. Thank you Ed Emberley!

Great intro to drawing
My kids (ages 7 and 5) have loved this book. They have learned to follow the linear instructions and are so impressed with their ability to create. We also purchased Ed Emberly's "Drawing Book of Animals". Both are great for young learners.
