A Classic
Ed Emberley's simple drawing style is easy to emulate and can provide hours of entertainment for children - as well as adults! The book fosters creativity and encourages the artist to develop original designs. In addition, the artwork developed by the young artist may be cherished for generations to come, since it features their fingerprints.

Pages of fun
Great craft ideas for preschoolers through grade school. Make sure to have the washable stamp pads ready for when the book arrives.

Lots of fun!!
We got this for my 6-year-old daughter. She has used it well. There are so many things to do in the book that she hasn't gotten bored. We haven't had much luck finding washable stamp pads that easily wash off her fingers though! Her stained fingers are worth it though!!

I'd Give it Two Thumbs Up!
As a homeschooling mom of a preschooler and first grader, I am always looking for things that are appropriate for a wide variety of age levels. The Complete Funprint Drawing Book is perfect for homeschool art! The directions are simple enough for my just-turned-four year old to follow, but the endless variety of things to make is interesting enough for my six (and a half) year old. I am looking into more Ed Emberly books to add to our homeschool art resource collection.

Easy Creativity
I loved Ed Emberley's books so much when I was a kid, I had to share them with my own children and my students.

Ed Emberly is my hero and has been for over 30 years
When I was fresh out of college many moons ago and I have literally no experience or ability to draw even a stick man and that is the truth, a friend of mine at church was a kindergarten teacher and she referred me to the Ed Emberly drawing books and oh my. Happy happy day for me. ANd I used these with my now grown kids. They go step by step and start with like a circle and then add the ears and he creates so many fun books. The thumbprint books of his are fun activities to do with your children that any age loves, it is just too much fun, pretty soon the neighbors will be dropping in because they heard of the Emberly fun going on at your house. All of his books are marvelous, just get one and you will be sold !!!!!

GREAT BOOK WITH FUN IDEAS!!!
My kids age 8, 5 & 2 1/2 all love making the figures from this book. It really inspires them to be creative & the drawings are easy to follow!! My 2 yr old can make his own cards with his own fingerprints.(We made thank you cards with colored ink & these cute ideas) I helped him finish off the pictures, but we all have a fun time!

Ed Emberley's COMPLETE drawing book
This book gives a thorough selection of holidays, themes, and a wide variety of thumbprints to choose from. There are step by step sections for the beginner. The examples provide good color ideas as well.
In addition to using ones' thumb, the book encourages pinky finger prints, or even using just the tip of any finger. A great first thumbprint book!

Great book, great gift!
This is a fun gift for kids and teachers. I even gave a copy to a fingerprint examiner and she thought it was a great gift. Brought a smile to her face, I think.
