Coast-To-Coast Games (Backseat Books) Review
User Submitted Coast-To-Coast Games (Backseat Books) ReviewsMay 28, 2006 Don't forget this book on your US travels! This book is jam-packed with activities and games to keep children occupied. The layout starts with the Pacific Coast and the Northern Rocky Mountains and travels through the Southwest, Central states, the South, the Middle Atlantic, and ends in the Northeast. The factoids of US states and their cities in this book allow everyone to have some fun. I used this in my classroom with first graders while reviewing US geography, and it was a favorite among students of all levels. The riddles are fun (what has a bed, but never sleeps?), the graphics are cool and colorful (page 56 and 57 with Cape Kennedy and St. Augustine), and the tidbits of knowledge are plentiful.
