This is one of my 2 year old's favorite books. I had to get a second copy because the first one was worn out. November 3, 2008 Great for Bedtime! My 18-month old son loves this book and won't go to bed without reading it. The illustrations are colorful, vibrant and interesting. A must for any growing library. August 24, 2008 Great bedtime book for train lovers! My 2 year old son loves this book. He's loved it since he was about 9 months old. It's rhyming and fun to read out loud with bright and interesting illustrations. Sure to be a hit for any boy who loves trains! August 22, 2008 My children's favorite book This simple, rhyming book about a toy train has been read and re-read in this house. My girls absolutely MUST hear this book at least five times a day. We're on our third copy, as the first two were destroyed from overuse. My only criticism is that the book is not of more sturdy construction. If you have toddlers and pre-school age children, this book is a must have! August 12, 2008 Chugga Chugga Our boy already loved Tugga-Tugga Tugboat and My Truck is Stuck, so I had an idea that he would like this book by the same author/illustrator combo, especially because he likes trains. Well, this was his favorite of the three. The drawings are charming, the story sufficiently uncomplicated for a nearly-three-year-old, and he wanted us to read nothing else for weeks. Highly recommended. July 7, 2008 Great Train Book! This is my 20 month old son's FAVORITE book. He constantly wants it to be read and re-read to him....and this is the only book that he asks for (even though we have a lot of other good ones). For any kids that love trains, this is a great book. And for parents, it's an enjoyable/easy read. And the illustrations are very nice too. June 27, 2008 Bright, Colorful, and full of fun sounds! I have read this book to a baby I babysit for, and he loves it! I've been reading it to him since he was 4 months old and he still likes to have it read to him over and over again! The primary colors in the book make it so vivid and colorful and you can be very animated when you read it, they love it! I ordered one for my sister's new baby! May 20, 2008 Every train loving toddler should own a copy of this book Fantastic pictures and great text, this book is a sure winner for any young train lover! May 12, 2008 Take your train to bed with you! The little boy in this story loves trains, and when it's time for bed he chugs his wooden train all around a most elaborate track...under the tunnels under the chairs in the bedroom, around some blocks that might cause a landslide, on a bridge across the river (a fish tank) and onto bed with the tired little boy who settles in with some stuffed animals for the night. It's a soothing and inventive bedtime story, and a pleasure to read aloud. April 12, 2008 A favorite in our household!! We have both the board book and the regular book.
