Busy Baby First 100 Words (Busy Baby) Review
User Submitted Busy Baby First 100 Words (Busy Baby) ReviewsNovember 12, 2008 okay book, have seen better from this company The book bothers me and another mom whom reviewed it with me. Too many words and arrows for a baby chew book. The ones on Family say above a woman "mom" above another woman "aunt". For a baby how confusing is that, since the baby only recognizes his/her mom as "mom". And Aunt, come on, what child under the age of 5 can comprehend those titles. I would send it back but it would cost just as much as it was to purchase it. The book is colorful and has lots to admire and look at as a baby/toddler. I just wish they had more pages to review in Amazon prior to me making the choice. The book is only about 6-7 inches tall. I love the other 100 words book by Sarah Phillips that is much taller and the pictures are spread out. August 24, 2008 My baby loves this book As a first time parent struggling to do all the right things for my baby, I got this book. I've heard that it's important to talk a lot to baby to help with their development. Honestly, sometimes I run out of things to say and I find myself saying the same phrases and singing the same songs to my little girl. I find this book helps add variety. My baby loves the bright photos, especially the pictures of babies and children. I say all the words in the book to her, and describe what we're looking at when we see each item/person. I think this is great for her development - not only is she visually stimulated, but she's also hearing many words that I might not normally speak in everyday conversation. If you're bi-lingual, another option is to say the words in the book in both English, and the second language. I do this in Spanish. May 5, 2008 Wonderfully entertaining My 11 month old daughter LOVES these books. She has since we got them about two months ago. There are big, bright pictures, and interesting pictures and backgrounds to look at. We talk about all the pictures and make the animal sounds. She loves to turn the pages herself and talks to the pictures of the babies in the book. We could probably spend half an hour each on this and the first 100 animals book. The cardboard pages and binding are sturdy, although I wouldn't let baby use it as a chew toy. I'm getting this with the First 100 Animals for a shower gift next month. February 17, 2008 LOVE THIS BOOK!! This is a wonderful book, the second one that I have bought. I plan to buy more because I know of five babies born last year! November 29, 2007 Great book This is the best picture book I have found. My 1year old daughter is intrigued with the bright initeresting pictures.
