I bought this book for my 4 year old grandson who sometimes has 'scared' moments that upset him. He loves this book because it both acknowledges a fear and shows how it is conquered by caring friends. October 27, 2008 Bear and his Friends are the BEST! Both the stories and the artwork in the Bear series are WONDERFUL! Can't brag enough about these charming stories. We enjoy all the Bear books, they are charming and refreshing. Give Bear and his friends a try! September 22, 2008 A Wonderful Story This is a wonderful story for any youngster from ages 3-8. The illustrations are magnificent and story lines rhyme and blend very well. This story is a good way to help your child overcome basic fears. September 15, 2008 Bear Feels Scared The illustrations are perfect for the fall/Halloween- not too spooky for the little ones. The story is not up to the standard of Bear Snores On- not quite as fun to read aloud. September 8, 2008 Karma doesn't disappoint.... Bear Feels Scared is another great addition to the Bear series. This entire series is a family favorite at bed time. I can't wait to see what happens with Bear and his friends next. "Bear feels scared", is their newest, added to our collection....We Love It!!!!! The story is adorable but we especially love the illustrations...what a wonderful artist Jane Chapman is!!!! August 21, 2008 Another great book by Karma Wilson I love all the Bear books from Karma. The rhythm and rhyming is excellent, making them such a joy to read. My older kids like to read along or at least read the title line in each verse, and the little ones like the beautiful illustrations. The story is great. For my kids it makes them feel good to know that even their trusted friend Bear gets scared, so they are not alone. I highly recommend this, and all of Mrs. Wilson's books. August 21, 2008 Great Karma Wilson Love all of her books, artwork is excellent, great for young children - and the adults who read to them, helps in talking to young ones about feeling scared.
