User Submitted Baby Cakes ReviewsJuly 12, 2008 great book to share with your grandchild or childM My 2 yr old granddaughter had borrowed this book from the library and enjoyed it so much and was so devastated at having to return it, so i purchased it for her. The rhyming is pleasant, the premise is pleasant. It makes you giggle and interact with the child. Although my granddaughter can only recognize a few letters she can "read" the entire book by herself now as she has it memorized. I reccomend this book. it is sturdy for little hands, illustrations are simple yet lovely, and it is interactive if you choose it to be! March 13, 2008 Cute book! This is a really cute book to read to your little one. Pictures are adorable and story allows you to interact with your kid(s)! March 10, 2008 We LOVE it! My 14-month-old little girl can't get enough of this book! We have a stuffed Pooh bear that she mimics the motions with. She even tries to sing along (previous reviewer was right; it's hard to just read and not sing this book!). I only wish it came with a bear like the one in the book. Now THAT would be too cute! I hope to see more Wilson/Williams collaborations in the future! February 1, 2008 Delightful! Absolutely adorable! We can't get enough of it. You really will find yourself singing the words to your baby throughout the day! October 20, 2007 Very cute book My daughter loves this book. We sing it to her to the tune of pat-a-cake and perform the actions like kissing on the nose, toes, etc. Now she can even finish some of the verses. August 20, 2007 the perfect bedtime story! I've been reading this book for the last 3 months (since my daughter turned 1-yo) and it's already her favorite book! We read it every night, and it has quickly become our favorite bedtime ritual! The lyrical rhymes captures my daughters attention through the entire book. its short enough to keep any 1-yo's attention, yet long enough to be a learning experience. From this book, my daughter has already learned her nose, toes, feet, "peek-a-boo", tickle, laugh, and hug. Her absolute favorite though is to "boucy bounce" and to "clap, clap, clap!" An absolute gem of a book! June 7, 2007 Very cute! We love to read this one in a sing-song way. Adorable pictures. I find myself reciting it to her throughout the day. April 19, 2007 A Perfect Bedtime Story I have read this book to my son every night before bed, since he was 9 months old. He loves it, and I love how you can be interactive- I smooch his nose, kiss his toes, play peek-a-boo, etc. The words are melodic and fun, and my son is very engaged by the colorful illustrations! I great book for your little one's collection! March 27, 2007 cute book I bought this book for my 2-year-old son because I love Karma Wilson's books. He really enjoys her other books. It's very simple (mostly for 1-2 yr olds) , but it's fun for bedtime. The pictures are really sweet too. March 11, 2007 great book got this book for my 15 month old and it is great.
