User Submitted 65 Years of Little Golden Books ReviewsNovember 24, 2008 Nice Value Purchased for a child for Christmas. She is just learning to read and I know she will love them. They were a great value. My only worry is that they seem to be more poorly put together then singles I have bought and might come apart after little use. Very nice set of books otherwise. September 25, 2008 Golden Books A wonderful childhood memory. All the favorites are included. I am looking forward to reading them to my child. September 8, 2008 Good Selection, poor craftmanship I have gotten NUMEROUS paper and cardboard cuts from the actual books, which means your child can't really hold the book themselves because the edges are very sharp. Good story selection though and I was happy they came in a small box to put them in her library all together. August 31, 2008 golden books Bought these as a gift for a baby shower. They bring back memories from my childhood, so what a great idea to pass them along to the next generation. These are wonderful books and the pack makes a great shower present. Overall, we had a good purchasing experience & will do business with seller again. June 11, 2008 Great set of books This is a GREAT series of books for any child to start reading. Parents, the best thing you can do for your child is spend a few minutes each day and read to them. I loved this set when I was growing up and I am passing it on to my neice who is only a year old. I love these books. February 16, 2008 Here are the titles: I did an ISBN number search and found that these are the titles in this set: "The Poky Little Puppy, Tootle, The Saggy Baggy Elephant, Tawny Scrawny Lion, Scuffy the Tugboat," and "The Shy Little Kitten." A bonus blank Little Golden Book with the official gold foil spine lets children create their very own classic. Full color. Consumable. It's very strange and annoying that the title are not included on the Amazon page. I too am trying to buy multiple LGB and can't figure out which to buy! February 13, 2008 What stories are in this book????? Okay I grew up on Little Golden Books and I absoluetly LOVE THEM! I don't think there was ONE that I did not like. Having said that I would still like to know exactly *WHICH* STORIES ARE CONTAINED IN THIS BOOKS AS I AM CONTEMPLATING BUYING SOME OF THE OTHER LGB SET BOOKS ALSO. I cannot find that information ANYWHERE ON THIS PAGE! Can anyone help me out with that please? I'm sure that there are many others out there wanting to know the same thing! I rate LGB overall a 5 as they are CLASSICS as well as PRECIOUS Childhood Memories to me. Someone please list the stories contained in this book! Thank You! And God Bless You for doing so!!!! January 2, 2008 A Bit Disappointed The stories are just great but the finishing (cut and binding)of the books is not as good as the classic set. October 14, 2007 Great Collection! You can get this collection and Little Golden Book Boxed Set Classic Collection (Little Golden Book), because each set has 6 different books. Hope this helps others!
